Terms of Service

You may use the Site to learn about Govera, request a demo, book a meeting, and contact us. You agree to provide accurate information when you do, and to use the Site only for lawful purposes.

Access to the Govera platform is provided to public agencies and their authorized staff under a separate agreement with the agency. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for the platform. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@govera.co if you believe your account has been used without permission.

You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the Site or the platform; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data; scrape or copy the Site at a rate or in a way that harms its operation; upload malicious code; or use the Site or platform to violate any law or the rights of others.

The Site, the Govera name and logo, and the platform software and content are owned by Govera or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to view the Site for its intended purpose. An agency keeps ownership of its own documents and records; Govera does not claim ownership of agency data.

Program name: Govera appointment and demo notifications.

What we send: text messages about a meeting or demo you requested, limited to appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-up messages about a demo request. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How you opt in: you enter your mobile number and check the consent box on the Govera booking page (govera.co/b/govera) or the demo request form, and submit the form. Checking the box is your agreement to receive these texts from Govera. Your number is used for this program only after you opt in.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using any Govera product or service.

Message frequency varies, depending on your request (for example, a confirmation and one or more reminders for each meeting you book). Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one confirmation message and no more texts after that. For help: reply HELP, or email support@govera.co.

Carriers (such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) and Govera are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is supported on most major US carriers, and delivery depends on your carrier and device.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent the law allows, Govera disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Content on the Site is general information, not legal, financial, or professional advice. AI-generated output on the platform is a draft that agency staff must review before it is used or published.

To the extent the law allows, Govera is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for the platform is governed by the agreement with the agency.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
